HELP US PROVIDE MASKS & GLOVES TO THE U.S. NATIONAL GUARD
Our National Guard is mainly comprised of volunteers who normally hold regular, civilian jobs. In times of crisis, these Americans are called to put their civilian life on hold and answer the call to duty.
Help us ensure our National Guard has ample masks and gloves to protect from the COVID-19 Virus. 100% of proceeds from this campaign will be used to purchase masks and gloves to donate to the National Guard, who will use and/or distribute in areas most effected by the virus.
Your contribution will help prevent the spread of this virus, and flatten the curve.
WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES
100% of Donations will go towards buying PPE. No one on our team is making ANY profit on this campaign.
Vulcan Machine Co., based in Fort Valley, Virginia, manufactures CNC milling machines and has a deeply rooted supply chain in China. This global supply chain has retooled and is now producing face masks, nitrile gloves, and other crucial PPE. With suppliers pivoting to support the Covid-19 pandemic, Vulcan leadership saw the opportunity to leverage our commercial partnerships, and do our part by procuring, importing, and distributing masks and gloves at low cost to areas most affected by the pandemic.
This Emergency PPE initiative was originated by the co-founders of Vulcan, but quickly grew to a team comprised of entrepreneurs, engineers, biochemical scholars, medical professionals, retired military, a former Microsoft and Amazon executive, a career import/export executive, and other community change agents.
We have noticed first responders and hospital workers are getting the majority of support and attention from the community, but didn’t see much about our National Guard. Guard members are civilians that made an agreement, some time ago, to drop their civilian lives and answer the call of duty to stand on the front lines and protect our nation from whatever the danger may be. They fulfill their obligations under all circumstances, and they are getting hit with the global PPE shortage just like every other first responder. We felt it was our duty, at the very least, to mobilize our resources and ensure these men and women have adequate PPE for themselves and to distribute to the community to effectively combat this pandemic.
